Your data

Your data, handled straight.

A plain account of what Revectro collects, why it exists, and what you can do with it — any time, on your own terms.

Your data is yours — export or delete, any time.

Everything you create in Revectro — your applications, contacts, notes, résumés, and AI-generated analyses — belongs to you. You can export a complete copy of your data at any time from Settings → Your data, no friction, no waiting.

If you want to leave, you can request account deletion and we will remove your account and all associated records from our primary database within 14 days. The full retention terms are in the Privacy Policy (Section 5).

The AI drafts. You decide.

Revectro drafts cover letters, tailors your résumé, and surfaces insights about your pipeline. You apply to the job, you send the message, you change your data — deliberately, each time. Every consequential action is yours.

Your data comes from you, too — you export it from LinkedIn or anywhere else and paste it in, and it stays in your hands. Revectro is an advisor in your corner, with you at the controls.

Does the AI read my data? Is it used to train AI models?

To generate your reads and drafts, Revectro sends the relevant content — your résumé, a job description, the note you asked us to tailor — to our AI provider, Anthropic. That is what lets the AI write for your real context.

Per Anthropic's current data policy, your inputs are not used to train their models, and are deleted within 30 days (held up to 30 days for trust and safety). We never sell your data or share it for advertising. The full text is in the Privacy Policy (Section 3.3).

What we collect and why.

We collect only what's needed to make the product work and to understand how to improve it:

Your job-search content — applications, contacts, notes, résumés, and the analyses and recommendations the AI produces — is stored to power the product.

Analytics and session replay — we use PostHog, a third-party service, for product analytics, session recordings, and error tracking. These may capture pages you visit, features you use, and interactions within the interface (password fields are masked). We use this to understand how the product is used and to fix problems. Full details are in Section 2.4 and Section 3.7 of the Privacy Policy.

Operational logs — per-user records of AI-feature invocations, for usage limits and abuse detection.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising. Our subprocessors — Neon (database), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI), Cloudflare (bot protection), Resend (email), GitHub (source code), and PostHog — are listed and described in the Privacy Policy (Section 3).

Security.

All traffic between you, Revectro, and our data providers is encrypted in transit (TLS). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (cost factor 12) — we cannot recover them. Every database query enforces per-user access controls so one account can never read another's data. Session cookies are HttpOnly and Secure.

Our database provider (Neon) holds SOC 2 Type 2 certification and encrypts data at rest. We store secrets in environment configuration, not in source code.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your data, we will notify you by email without undue delay, as required by applicable law. The full security terms are in the Privacy Policy (Section 4).
